Education Committee

The purpose of the Community Education committee is to provide information to parents, guardians and other community members as is relative to the issues of developmental disabilities. Each year LEO sponsors a community forum, which features a speaker on pertinent topics and provides the opportunity for parents to seek more information from other parents who have gone this road before them. We are always looking for new ideas for topics and speakers. Some of the programs we’ve had in the past were:

Housing Options—a panel of people with disabilities explaining their different living situations, as they move from the family home.
