Description:
A licensed adult family home in downtown Issaquah, already successfully operating for 6+ years with
5 young adults with developmental disabilities, is looking for a 24 hour live-in care provider.
This person/couple would contract directly with the State of Washington to provide services by becoming a
Licensed Adult Family Home provider. Responsibilities include performing daily living support tasks, cooking,
maintaining the required paperwork and maintaining the home.
Most of the residents are employed outside of the home and participate in many social activities.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma
-Experience working with people with developmental disabilities/mental health
issues
-Ability to meet qualification for an Adult Family Provider including, but not
limited to:
- Fundamentals of care giving
- First Aid certification
- CPR certification
- 48 hour administration training
- 2 day specialty training through the department of developmental
disabilities
- Background check
- Current valid Washington State driver’s license
